Chris moved to the village in 1970 and attended the Meadows and Ecclesbourne Schools, before leaving in 1984 to start an 11 year stint in HM Armed Forces (Captain RE) and then jobs in the corporate and personal development sectors in UK, Europe and SE Asia. Chris returned to the family home in 2000, at the time managing the UK’s main Forensic Medical company for a plc. Chris was elected to his first term on the Parish Council in May 2007 and now works for the Derby Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust at the DRI and City Hospitals.
